Austin, TX – June 23, 2006 - Symtx, Inc., the largest independent manufacturer of functional test systems, is pleased to be selected by Medtronic Cardiac Rhythm Management Division in Tempe, Arizona to design and build the Medtronic Next Generation Hybrid Test System. The NGHT test systems are used in a clean room environment for functionally qualifying hybrid circuit cards controlling Medtronic’s pacemaker and defibrillator products. Symtx is delivering the functional test systems that will be mated to Medtronic material handling systems for full scale production needs. The contract is for 10 test systems and is valued at $1.2M.
