austin, TX - December 17, 2004 -Symtx,
Inc., the largest independent manufacturer of functional test systems,
announced today the selection of Symtx by the Boeing company to provide
automated test systems in support of the C-17 aircraft program. The Symtx
provided C-17 systems will be used for the testing of the C-17 aircraft
avionics. The Boeing C-17 aircraft is widely utilized in military and humanitarian
missions due to its large cargo capacity and the ability to land in virtually
any airstrip in the world.
Symtx will provide the Boeing Company
with 23 systems in support of the C-17 aircraft that will be used in the
testing, maintenance and support of the aircraft to the U.S. Air Force
and the United Kingdom Royal Air Force.
