The AS 9100:2001 is the ISO 9001:2000 equivalent for suppliers in the aerospace industry. By inserting aerospace industry-specific requirements, the AS 9100 ensures a high level of quality management systems standard in the manufacturing process, supplying customer satisfaction by affording quality and safety.
